At PQA, our weekend performing arts empower young people aged 4-18 to discover their creativity, build self-belief, and develop essential life skills. We champion Project-Based Learning approach, where children participate in hands-on, collaborative projects that encourage self-expression, teamwork, and personal growth—all while having fun.

Main Academy: 6 – 18 Years

Our Main Academy sessions are more than musical theatre. Children dive into the world of performing arts, including film, comedy and drama.

Main Academy sessions are 3-hours, with an hour each in our three modules: Musical Theatre, Film Making, and Comedy and Drama. Led by professional teachers our classes build a unique mix performing arts skills. Out student led approach, where students learn by doing, helps equip our children with a true sense of discovery and the real skills they need for life.

Students grouped by age: Green group for six to nine year olds; Blue group for ten to twelve year olds, and Red group for teens aged from thirteen to eighteen.

We ask that students wear comfortable footwear, clothing that they can move around in, and their PQA t-shirt (you receive your first t-shirt free when you join).

Poppets: 4 – 8 Years

Poppets sessions are specially created for four- to six-year-olds.

In a safe and welcoming space, our 90-minute Poppets classes spark young imaginations through singing, dancing, and acting, while building skills, honing energy and focus, making friends, and exploring new adventures together. We encourage children to develop performing arts techniques and embrace their amazing selves—full of buzzing energy, smiles, and limitless potential.

Poppets also receive a free t-shirt when they join, and we ask that they come along in comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear for their active classes.

Building Self-Belief Through Performing Arts .

At PQA we believe in the power of performing arts to build self-belief. We provide a safe and encouraging space, allowing children and young people to take on new challenges. Through developing professional skills they also gain invaluable personal skills and discover what they can achieve.
